Additional Test Sites Added for Employment with 2010 United States Census
The City of Sanibel has been notified that the US Census Bureau has added additional test sites for local residents wishing to assist in completing the 2010 Census.
Positions available include: Census Taker; Crew Leader; Crew Leader Assistant; Recruiting Assistant; and Census Clerk.
Tests will be administered as follows:
Thursday, February 25th, 2010 – 1 p.m. (Standard Test)
Sanibel Library, 770 Dunlop Road
Saturday, February 27th, 2010 – 10:30 a.m. (Standard Test)
Sanibel Community Church, 1740 Periwinkle Way
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 – 12:30 p.m. (Supervisor Test)
BIG Arts (Lanai), 900 Dunlop Road
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 – 1 p.m. (Standard Test)
Big Arts (Bonser Room), 900 Dunlop Road
Saturday, March 6th, 2010 - 10:30 a.m. (Standard Test)
Sanibel Recreation Center, 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road
Wednesday, March 10th, 2010 - 1:00 pm (Standard Test)

Census takers usually work in their own neighborhoods or communities and work varied hours, including evening and weekend opportunities, not exceeding 40 hours per week. Pay is $12 to $15 per hour depending on position held. Applicants will be required to take a test measuring general math and English skills.
