Annual Shared Use Path Repairs Project - Path Parallel to Rabbit Road - November 5
On October 19th, the City of Sanibel’s contractor, Gulf Paving, began the repairs to the Shared Use Path running parallel to Rabbit Road. The work was expected to take approximately two weeks to complete however there has been another delay. The work is now expected to be finished by November 13th

That section of Shared Use Path from the north end of Surf Sound Ct heading north to Sanibel-Captiva Rd. will be closed to all traffic during the repairs. All path users are alerted to use due caution while navigating around the construction areas.
