Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the City of Sanibel is sponsoring the Lee Memorial Health System’s Bloodmobile at the Sanibel Recreation Center located at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road.
Almost 40,000 Americans need blood transfusions each and every day. One in three people will need blood in their lifetime. The Lee Memorial Health System is currently in critical need of blood to meet local area needs.
The Lee Memorial Health System’s Bloodmobile regularly visits the Sanibel Recreation Center in conjunction with the City’s “Fit-4-Life” initiative. Help ensure adequate supplies of blood are available for you, your family and others in our community. Please pre-register at the Recreation Center or call 472-0345 to reserve your donation time.
