COMMUNITY ALERT! AUTO BURGLARIES
The Sanibel Police Department is alerting the public that last night, October 19th, there were several vehicle burglaries east of Donax on Elinor Way and Glory Circle.
Chief Tomlinson advises extra precaution be taken when leaving your vehicle. Remove anything that looks valuable from the passenger compartment and put it in the trunk keeping them hidden. That includes backpacks, briefcases, cell phones and laptop computers. Keep the windows rolled up and the car locked, even if it’s parked at your own house.
