Sanibel City Hall will be closed in observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2012 and will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

City of Sanibel Labor Day Holiday - Schedule & Refuse Collection
Sanibel City Hall will be closed in observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2012 and will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
Due to Tropical Storm Isaac refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Veolia, the City’s trash hauler, was suspended on Monday, August 27, 2012. The one day delay will remain in place for the remainder of the week.
If your normal pick-up day is Thursday, August 30, 2012 your waste will be picked up on Friday, August 31, 2012.
If your normal pick-up day is Friday, August 31, 2012 your waste will be picked up on Saturday, September 1, 2012.
Due to holiday refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Veolia, the City’s trash hauler, will be suspended on Monday, September 3, 2012 and will resume on Tuesday, September 4th. The one day delay will remain in place for the remainder of the week.
If your normal pick-up day is Monday, September 3, 2012, your waste will be picked up on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
If your normal pick-up day is Tuesday, September 4, 2012 your waste will be picked up on Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
If your normal pick-up day is Wednesday, September 5, 2012 your waste will be picked up on Thursday, September 6, 2012.
If your normal pick-up day is Thursday, September 6, 2012 your waste will be picked up on Friday, September 7, 2012.
If your normal pick-up day is Friday, September 7, 2012 your waste will be picked up on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
The normal waste collection schedule will resume on Monday, September 10, 2012.
The Sanibel Recreation Center will operate normal business hours and maintain all land and water aerobics classes on Labor Day, Monday, September 3rd from 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. All regular classes will be held. Lap Pool is open from 6:30 am – 7:00 p.m. Water Features Pool & Splash Pad will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

The Sanibel Recreation CenterAfter School Program will not operate in observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2012 and will resume on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
