FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE with THOMAS R. LOUWERS, M.S.T., TWILIGHT CAFÉ, and GEORGE & LYNN CAMPEAN

Thomas R. Louwers, M.S.T., 1619 Periwinkle Way, Suite 102, is a Kiwanian. Tom has been a volunteer in numerous capacities since first visiting the Island in 1978. He and wife Teresa became permanent residents in 1983. Tom loves and participates actively in Friends Who Care. He has been married for 40 years, with two children and four grandchildren. Tom is a tax consultant and his office specializes in accounting services. Tom is on the Board of Directors at the Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. The sign held by (left to right) Sally Tom, Barb and Ed is $135.

Twilight Café, 2761 West Gulf Drive, is owned and operated by Robert Parks. This well-known Café first opened its doors on Sanibel in 1995. Twilight Café relocated to its present address in 2008 at the former Nutmeg and Riviera restaurant site. After a successful year, Chef Parks remodeled his restaurant to increase his bar and wine “cellar”. He is creating menus to complement the seasons. Twilight offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full service bar open daily from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Happy hour occurs daily in the afternoon and in the late evening. On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays live music is present.

The sign held by Robert is $195.

Lynne and George Campean, a Kiwanian, have been vacationers on Sanibel since the 1970’s. They became permanent residents three years ago. Lynne is an active Zontian. The Campeans have become sponsors with the purchase of a sign for $135.

You can become a sponsor by purchasing a 24” x 32” sign for $195 or a 24” x 18” sign for $135. Signs may be purchased anonymously. Proceeds from the sale of signs help our island workers so their children can attend the City of Sanibel Recreation After School Program, Fun Days when school is closed and Summer Camp at the Recreation Center.
