(Parade Route begins at Island Inn Road to Tarpon Bay Road to Periwinkle Way to Casa Ybel Road)
9:30 a.m. - Jerry’s Shopping Center – Independence Day Celebration
1700 Periwinkle Way
12 p.m. Sanibel-Captiva Optimist Club 32nd Annual Independence Day Road Rally
Timbers Restaurant, 703 Tarpon Bay Road
6 p.m. - The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club – Independence Day Celebration

8:30 p.m. (Dusk) - Fireworks Display
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands’ Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the fireworks display this year. Fireworks will be launched from the north end terminus of Bailey Road. Best viewing of the fireworks display is from the bayside of Sanibel and from any of the Sanibel Causeway Islands.
