Independence Day City Hall Holiday Schedule-Refuse and Recycling Pick-Up Altered
Sanibel City Administrative Offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 and will resume regular office hours on Thursday, July 5, 2012
Refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Veolia Environmental Services scheduled for Independence Day will be one day later. Therefore, if your normal pick-up day is Wednesday, July 4, 2012, your waste will be picked up on Thursday, July 5, 2012. The altered schedule will remain in place for the rest of the week. The normal waste collection schedule will resume on Monday, July 9, 2012.
The Recreation Center will operate under special holiday hours on Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All fitness classes will be offered. If you have any questions, please call the Recreation Center at 472-0345.
There will be no youth summer day camp programs offered on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in observance of Independence Day. Registration is now open for the Summer Recreation Program at the Recreation Center front desk, 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road or online at www.mysanibel.com. The City of Sanibel’s Center 4 Life/Civic Center will be closed in observance of Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 and will resume normal office hours on Thursday, July 5, 2012. If you have any questions, please call 472-5743.
