Come to the Sanibel Recreation Center for a morning of fun competition and try out your free throw shooting abilities at the Sanibel Basketball Shootout at 10 am on Saturday, March 6th at the Sanibel Recreation Center. Join neighbors, friends and visitors in this tournament style competition playing with the best Sanibel has to offer.

Come to the Sanibel Recreation Center for a morning of fun competition and try out your free throw shooting abilities at the Sanibel Basketball Shootout at 10 am on Saturday, March 6th at the Sanibel Recreation Center. Join neighbors, friends and visitors in this tournament style competition playing with the best Sanibel has to offer. There will be varying age divisions offered to assure fair competition (5-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-25, 26-40, 41-59, 60+). Two separate contests will be played; Best of 10 Free Throws and Most Consecutive Free Throws. Prizes include gift certificates to: The Jacaranda, Sanibel Deli & Coffee Factory, Schnapper’s Hots, The Lazy Flamingo, Island Cow and more. Participants must register by March 5th. There is no registration fee for recreation center members; purchase of a day pass is required for non-members.
