Rabbit Road Shared Use Path - 2012 Widening and Overlay Project
Beginning Monday, July 23, the City of Sanibel’s contractor, Bateman Contracting, LLP, will begin the scheduled asphalt widening and overlay of the Shared Use Path running west of and parallel to Rabbit Road. The contractor has sixty (60) days to complete the project.

Beginning Monday, July 23, the City of Sanibel’s contractor, Bateman Contracting, LLP, will begin the scheduled asphalt widening and overlay of the Shared Use Path running west of and parallel to Rabbit Road. The contractor has sixty (60) days to complete the project.
The Shared Use Path from West Gulf Drive to south end of Surf Sound Ct.at Cul de sac and from the north end of Surf Sound Ct. to Sanibel-Captiva Rd. will be closed to all traffic during the widening and overlay project. All path users are alerted to use due caution while traveling around the construction areas.
