Reminder - Sanibel Recreation Center Closed Monday, July 23 – Sunday, July 29, 2012 To Complete Five Year Maintenance Projects

The Sanibel Recreation Center will be closed from Monday, July 23 – Sunday, July 29, 2012 in order to complete numerous five year maintenance projects. All of the major projects have been scheduled during the week of July 23rd in an effort minimize the inconvenience to our patrons as many of the projects are odiferous and disruptive.

The youth summer day camp program will operate as scheduled and will be based out of the pavilion and ball fields.

The Center 4 Life (located at 2401 Library Way) offers fitness classes throughout the week that are available to Sanibel Recreation Center members as well.

Tuesdays & Thursdays
8:00 a.m. Power Hour
9:30 a.m. Gentle Yoga

Beach Parking Permits will be available for purchase Monday, July 23rd through Friday, July 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the pavilion. To qualify for any Beach Parking Permit, please bring a valid vehicle registration for each vehicle AND a valid state issued identification or driver’s license showing a Sanibel address or proof of Sanibel property ownership. Payment may be made via cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.
