Sanibel Permitted Special Events Weekend of February 27th & 28th - NEW LOCATION FOR SANIBEL’S FARMERS MARKET!!

Please read this article for City permitted Special Events happening this weekend! Children's Education Center of the Islands YARD SALE, Kiwanis Annual Spaghetti Dinner, Sanibel Island Farmer's Market AT THEIR NEW LOCATION BEHIND CITY HALL, and CROW'S "Woodstork" Art & Wine Fest.

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

8 a.m. to Noon – Children’s Education Center of the Islands YARD SALE
350 Casa Ybel Road

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Kiwanis Annual Spaghetti Dinner
Sanibel Community Association, 2173 Periwinkle Way

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market
*NEW LOCATION – Behind Sanibel City Hall, 800 Dunlop Road
PARKING AVAILABLE AT: City Hall, Sanibel Library and BIG Arts

This open air market features 30 vendors including baked goods, live plants, honey, pasta, cheese, sausages, fresh fish, fresh produce, and organic veggies.

4 p.m. to 7 p.m. – CROW’S “Woodstork” Art & Wine Fest
Trader’s Café, 1551 Periwinkle Way

The City of Sanibel is a “walkable and bikeable” community and features one of the most extensive shared use paths in the State of Florida. Attendees to these special events are encouraged to enjoy our good nature, bicycle to these events and stay FIT-4-LIFE .
