Sanibel Permitted Special Events - Weekend of November 25th, 26th & 27th

TRAFFIC ALERT! - Due to the Sanibel Masters Art Festival being held at Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, on Friday and Saturday, November 25th & 26th, motorists may experience traffic delays on Periwinkle Way between Casa Ybel Road and Tarpon Bay Road from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should plan their travel accordingly.

The following Special Events have been permitted by the City of Sanibel for this weekend:

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25th

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Lion’s Club Christmas Tree Sales, Bailey’s Shopping Center, 2477 Periwinkle Way

9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Sanibel Masters Art Festival, Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH

9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Sanibel Masters Art Festival, Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Lion’s Club Christmas Tree Sales, Bailey’s Shopping Center, 2477 Periwinkle Way

The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village, 950 Dunlop Road, is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Museum and Village was founded in 1984 with a mission to preserve and share Sanibel’s unique history from the Calusa and Spanish eras to the early pioneer families who settled on the island in the 1800’s.

The City of Sanibel is a “walkable and bikeable” community and features one of the most extensive shared use paths in the State of Florida. Attendees to these special events are encouraged to enjoy our good nature, bicycle to these events and stay FIT-4-LIFE!
