Sanibel Recreation Department Recognizes Members of the Month Gil & Helen Gilinsky

The City of Sanibel Recreation Department would like to recognize the Members of the Month, Gil & Helen Gilinsky.

Gil and Helen Gilinsky became Sanibel property owners in 1979 and became full-time residents eight years later. They joined the Sanibel Recreation Center in 2008 with the goal to sustain a healthy lifestyle. As members, Mr. and Mrs. Gilinsky have maintained their weight, increased muscle tone and improve their mental attitudes by participating in various activities. When asked about the Recreation Center Mr. Gilinsky replied, “I am pleased with the facility and very happy with the staff and maintenance. We are truly lucky to have this facility on Sanibel”.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilinsky have been married for 62 years and have three children. Mr. Gilinsky is a retired dentist and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh class of 1947.
