Sanibel Recreation Department Recognizes Members of the Month Mike & Mary Miller

The City of Sanibel Recreation Department would like to recognize the Members of the Month, Mike and Mary Miller.

Mike and Mary Miller have been residents on Sanibel for 13 years and members at the Sanibel Recreation Center for 3 years. They joined the facility to stay in good physical condition. Both Mr. and Mrs. Miller enjoy using the weight room and attended the Cycle Zone classes to stay active. When asked how being a member at the recreation center has impacted their life they replied, “It has helped us to maintain the active lifestyle we want and need.”

Mr. and Mrs. Miller are originally from Michigan. They have two children and two grandchildren. Mr. Miller was a United States Air Force Pilot, a corporate executive and practiced law in Cape Coral for seven years. He also volunteers his time as Vice Chair on the Parks and Recreation Committee. In their spare time they enjoy going on hikes, cycling and staying active.
