Please read this important Traffic Advisory for temporary road closures the morning of Saturday, October 15, 2011, for the annual F.I.S.H. 10K race.

Due to the annual F.I.S.H. 10K Race, the following roads will be closed on Saturday, October 15th:

6:45 a.m. to *10:30 a.m. – Tarpon Bay Road from Periwinkle Way to West Gulf Drive
6:45 a.m. to *10:30 a.m. – Island Inn Road from Tarpon Bay Road to West Gulf Drive
6:45 a.m. to *7:15 a.m. – Eastbound Periwinkle Way from the Sanibel Community House to Casa Ybel Road
7 a.m. to *8 a.m. – Southbound Casa Ybel Road from Periwinkle Way to Algiers Road.

*Times are approximate and depend on the length of time for runners/walkers to clear the area.

Motorists are advised to be alert for PEDESTRIANS IN THIS AREA and should CAREFULLY FOLLOW LAW ENFORCEMENT INSTRUCTION AND EVENT TRAFFIC SIGNAGE. Motorists can expect delays. Please plan your travel accordingly.
