Lee County Electric Cooperative Schedule for Maintenance to Electric Facilities on Sanibel-Captiva Road
The City of Sanibel has received the following information from Lee County Electric Cooperative:
Lee County Electric Cooperative will be conducting scheduled maintenance on electric facilities on Sanibel-Captiva Road beginning the week of April 16th, 2012 through the week of August 27, 2012. Depending on weather, construction will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning at the Lee County Electric Cooperative Substation and continuing to Rabbit Road. Traffic along the route will be limited to single lane closures of short sections at a time. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and heed all signage and traffic controllers.
The maintenance is part of a ten-year plan to ensure the Lee County Electric Cooperative’s infrastructure remains stable for customers on the island.
