CITY RECRUITING LIFEGUARDS

The City of Sanibel is seeking candidates to fill part-time Lifeguard positions at the Sanibel Recreation Center.  Applicants must be certified to perform lifeguarding functions.

Interested applicants without current Lifeguard certification are encouraged to enroll in the Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course being given at the Recreation Center on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, Mary 4^th, 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.  The cost of the course is $180 for Recreation Center members and $225 for non-members.

Anyone who takes the certification course and is subsequently hired by the City will be reimbursed the cost of the course upon completion of 60 days successful employment by the City of Sanibel as a Lifeguard.
