CITY OF SANIBEL VEGETATION COMMITTEE TO OFFER GUIDED NATIVE PLANT TOURS OF CITY HALL GROUNDS
The City of Sanibel Vegetation Committee will offer a guided native plant tour of City Hall grounds, which have been planted solely with native plants, on the following dates:
Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Vegetation Committee members will provide information on proper planting and care of native vegetation. The City of Sanibel encourages planting of vegetation that is indigenous to the area as they require very little maintenance and do not require fertilization.
The guided tour will begin promptly at 10:00 a. m. Registration is not required. Attendees meet at the main entrance to City Hall, 800 Dunlop Road, in front of the main staircase. For additional information regarding the guided native vegetation tours, please contact the City’s Natural Resources Department at (239) 472-3700.
