Three-Week Look Ahead

March 10, 2008 – March 30, 2008

Miscellaneous activities necessary to complete the work on the roadways on both sides of bridges A, B and C, the causeway islands and the toll plaza may require work in and around the travel lanes and will have traffic control measures in place during daylight hours for the next several weeks. Caution is advised.

Bridge A

Work continues on the new bridge fender system which restricts movement through the bridge at the navigation channel. Boaters advised to obey the no wake rule. Caution is advised.

Bridge C

Work has begun on the installation of the access ladders and platforms to the navigational channel fender system. Work will be in and around the navigation channel and may restrict movement through the bridge at the navigation channel. Boaters advised to obey the no wake rule. Caution is advised.

Boat Ramp Parking Area/ Restrooms/Fish Cleaning Station

Personnel using the boat ramp advised that construction is continuing in some areas and caution should be used.
