PUBLIC HEARING

       CITY OF SANIBEL, FLORIDA

 

The Sanibel Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on June 26, 2007 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at Sanibel City Hall in the Council Chamber (MacKenzie Hall), 800 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, Florida, to consider the following application:

 

9:15 AM           Commencement of a scheduled public hearing:

 

                        Request for Preliminary Plat Approval:  Major Subdivision

 

Consideration of a request to amend Condition #2 of Resolution 06-14 approving a development permit and preliminary plat approval for a major subdivision to divide a vacant 2.7 acre parcel of land (previously occupied by the Old School House Theater) into a six (6) lot unified residential (cluster) development for 6-single family dwelling units, together with common tracts of land dedicated for a vegetation buffer, private roadway, drainage and utility easement, and twenty-five (25) feet of additional public road right-of-way along Periwinkle Way.

 

The subject parcel is located at 1905 Periwinkle Way (Tax Parcel Nos. 25-46-22-T1-00005.0010 and 25-46-22-T1-0020D.0000) and is to be developed in conjunction with a contiguous and commonly owned 7.9-acre parcel of land recently approved by the Planning Commission (PC Resolution No. 05-04) for a 6-lot major subdivision.  The application is submitted by Mark Anderson and Ron Rosen, principals and representatives for Landbel, Inc., the property owner.  Application No. 05-3038DP.
