Sanibel Mayor Kevin Ruane has been appointed Chairperson of the Florida Municipal Insurance Trust (FMIT) Board of Trustees at the Friday, December 9, 2011 Board meeting.

This five day camp will provide youth ages 11-15 with the skills every parent wants in a babysitter including safety, basic child care, safe play, critical emergency action skills, first aid and CPR skills. The last day of camp will also include pet first aid training.

The City of Sanibel Vegetation Committee is offering guided native plant tours of City Hall grounds, which have been planted solely with native plants.
