Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the City of Sanibel is sponsoring the Lee Memorial Health System’s Bloodmobile at the Sanibel Recreation Center.
Complimentary Blood Pressure Screening at the Sanibel Recreation Center on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Join us on Saturday, February 2nd at 10 a.m. for the Healthy Heart Month Tennis Tournament. This event is open to all tennis players 18 years of age and over.
Lighthouse Beach to be Tilled Starting Monday Afternoon January 28th
As a requirement of the State Department of Environmental Protection permits for the beach renourishment project completed at Lighthouse Beach, the beach must be tilled prior to the start of sea turtle nesting season. This work is done to ensure that the beach is not overly compacted and is of the appropriate compression to enable female sea turtles to excavate nest chambers in the beach sand to lay their eggs.
